Ask me what is my favorite time to photograph a baby and I will without hesitation answer 6 months. I mostly love the expressions - I love the oh-so-serious pout of a baby. I love the rolls. I love being able to sit a baby down on their cute bum and plop mom's favorite stuffy next to them.  The newborn stage is also a precious time. Hands so tiny. Lips so soft. And little bellies so round. I like to capture my newborns with lots of white surrounding them, emulating their purity and preciousness. And of course, we cannot forget the celebration of your baby turning ONE! So, why not go out with frosting flying and cake-covered cheeks!

The First Twelve

The First Twelve Collection includes:

* 3 sessions throughout the year (newborn, 6 months, and 1 year. (value of $750)
* sessions include 1-2 clothing changes and are up to 45 minutes
* 10 digital images OR $500 credit towards your collection (reg. $750)
* add on a session $175 (reg. $225)

the fine print:

A 50% retainer is due to reserve your first session date, then 50% of the remaining balance is due for the second session, and the remaining payment is due for the final session. (note: this link below is to purchase the collection in full. if you would like to pay incrementally, I will send you an invoice to accommodate.)

Sessions are to celebrate your baby's first year. Parents are welcome to be included in a few images. For multi-generational family sessions, please see our collections page for pricing.

Mini Sessions are reserved for immediate family (parents + kids), or for you and your fur-baby, or maybe just your fur-baby! For families celebrating your multi-generational family tree (which I *love*!) be sure to check out the Custom Session Experience below.

Your 10 Digital Images include color-correction and are ready for print + social shares. Any further retouching requests are welcome and will be quoted as needed.

viewing + ordering

your print + digital collection

Once your session is complete, we will have a viewing + ordering appointment at the studio. This is where we will select your album, select images for the album, and of course select the images you wish to keep on digital form. The 5x7 prints are also included and are a perfect gift for grandparents or accents in your baby's nursery. Most collections include album design, prints, and digitals. Additional products are available, including grandparent albums, wall portraits, and more. For a full list of options, click the link below.

 

For the First Twelve Collection, the images will be viewed online and you can either choose some digitals to keep or wait to do your full order at the completion of the sessions.

The BEST thing about photographing your baby throughout the year, is creating a baby album at the end of the year! Congratulations parents! You made it!

What I love about my baby's first year album, is that it really reminds me of a baby book - shiny, hardbound pages, with little curved corners - something I will cherish forever!
